What does Soot actually make?

A little bit of everything that can be zapped, burned, cut, or permanently marked by a laser.
Gifts, décor, kink gear, patriotic pieces, gun-themed items, custom engraving, and random stuff we came up with at 3 a.m. If it sits still long enough, we’ll engrave it.

Do you take custom orders?

Absolutely. That’s kind of our whole thing we offer.
If you want something sentimental, sarcastic, kinky, patriotic, or a combination of all four, we’re your shop.
Just send your idea and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

How long do custom orders take?

It depends on complexity and how much coffee we’ve had.
Large or highly-detailed projects may take a little longer, but we’ll always give you an ETA up front. Contact us to discuss your specifics.

What materials do you engrave?

• Wood

• Acrylic

• Leather (including kink gear)

• Certain metals

• Slate

• Glass (etching style)

• Rubber / silicone (depending on the item)

  
  If you’re not sure, ask. We’ll tell you whether it’s engravable or likely to burst into flames.

Do you engrave firearms or firearms parts?

Years - Where legal.

We can do mags, grips, dust covers, backplates, tools, ammo boxes, “freedom seed” containers… you get the idea.
We do not serialize firearms or touch anything illegal. Freedom, not felonies.

Do you make kink items?

We do — and we’re very discreet about packaging.
Impact toys, engraved tags, safe-word signs, dungeon décor… nothing shocks us.

Is everything family friendly?

Some items are wholesome.
Some items are patriotic.
Some items are rated “mind your business.”
We label everything clearly so you know what you’re clicking.

Can I pick up locally?

If you’re in Sonoma County, CA, yes!
Choose Local Pickup during checkout and we’ll message you to arrange a time.

What if I want something super specific?

Then you’re our favorite kind of customer.
Send your idea, reference picture, motto, family joke, kink phrase, gun quote, inside joke — whatever.
We’ll turn it into reality.

What is your return policy?

Custom items are non-returnable unless we made a mistake.
If we mess something up, we fix it — no attitude, no nonsense.
If you just changed your mind after we laser-engraved your 27-character safe word… that one’s on you.

Why the name “Soot?”

Because lasers burn things.
Also because it sounds cool.
Also because “Burny Burny Shop Shop” was taken.

Do you offer bulk or business orders?

Yes — for corporate gifts, events, bachelor/bachelorette gear, team morale items, club gear, or merch.
